DIRECTOR of CARE
Dr. Enakshi Sengupta serves as Associate Director of HETL and is responsible for the advancement of HETL in Asia, Middle East and Africa. Dr. Sengupta is also the Director of the Center for Advanced Research in Education (CARE).
CARE aims to engage in rigorous, cutting-edge research on topics that will have a deep and meaningful impact on educational outcomes in education. HETL accomplishes this aim through rigorous academic research and publishing with academic researchers and scholars around the world. For example, HETL has published over 20 peer-reviewed academic books through the Innovations in Higher Education Teaching and Learning series with Emerald Group Publishing as well as manages the Journal of Applied Research in Higher Education with Emerald Group Publishing.
The global HETL network allows educational leaders and scholars around the world to effectively collaborate on meaningful and high impact ways to improve educational policy and outcomes as well as strengthen democracy and human rights by creating sustainable models of education and lifelong learning by working at the nexus of theory, policy, and practice. These collaborations have yielded many scholarly publications and initiatives, as well as many new theories, principles, models, methods, frameworks, taxonomies, and concepts.
