Visiting Professor of Chemistry at Kano University of Science and Technology, Nigeria; President/founder of Brilliant Scientists of Tomorrow, 501c3; Presidential Volunteer Award; NASA faculty Fellow; Teacher of the Year – Malawi, and NPSC fellow.She has over a decade of teaching experience in both an online and a traditional environment. Her PhD is in Physical Chemistry, and her research background is quite diverse: ranging from ab initio computations to FT IR characterizaton of dioxin compounds. She currently works as a visiting physical chemistry professor at Kano Univesity of Science and Technology in Nigeria.

Her work is quite fulfilling. Outside of teaching students, She is involved in a great deal of community service projects like providing resources to secondary and primary schools, training teachers, working as a role model for girls in science, helping with gender equity issues in the sciences, and helping orphans and the hungry as well.

Additionally, she has developed a nonprofit org called Brilliant Scientists of Tomorrow that provides educational opportunities to those from disadvantaged communites both here and abroad. So, her main focus at the moment is to raise more funds so that she can help more people.
