OER Country Champion for USA: Dr. Patrick Blessinger. Contact: [email protected]

The OER World Map project will illuminate the scope and nature of the global OER movement. If you are involved in OER, we want to map your OER story to the OER World Map. This particular submission form/site is only for stories from the USA. All stories will be licensed under CC-BY 4.0 License: https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/

There is no deadline for submissions; we accept submissions on a continual basis.

Literally anything connected to OER can be a story; we are especially looking for activity oriented stories which describe what is (or has been) happening in the field of OER:

The OER Story you submit should be a brief (500 word max) narrative about how you are using Open Educational Resources and the successes and challenges you have had in its design, implementation, management, and use. Your story should describe the who, what, where, when, why, and how of your OER experience. Your story should be about:
    - A new (or old but still interesting) OER project / initiative
    - Examples of Open Educational Practices like someone generating OER resources or teaching with OER.
    - Institutional policies on OER.
    - New insights and research on OER.
    - The development or use of helpful infrastructure, software and services for OER like OER search engines or OER repositories.
